ההשראה לקטלוג בגדים שצילמתי בשנת 2000 היה הבית שגדלתי בו ברחוב קהילת אודסה 21, בתל אביב.
את הוילה המשפחתית תכנן ובנה אבי יצחק שהיה אוטודידקט, בשנות החמישים של המאה העשרים.
בבית היה שולחן גדול ערוך, תמיד עם מפת כותנה, כלי חרסינה ותבשילים טריים מעשה ידיה של אימי שולמית.
השולחן שהיא ערכה הידהד את הבית שהיא גדלה בו בירושלים, בית אשרוב, והושפע מהקולינריה העשירה בתבשילים על פי עונות השנה של סמרקנד.

The inspiration for the catalog of clothes I took in 2000 was the house I grew up on 21 Odessa Street, Tel Aviv.
The family villa was designed and built by my father Isaac, who was an autodidact in the 1950s.
At home there was a large table set up, always with a map of cotton, china and fresh dishes made by Imi Shulamit.
The table she set up echoed the house she grew up in Jerusalem, the Asharov House, and was influenced by the rich culinary cuisine of Samarkand.
